Founded in London in 2014, PM Modern Construction has spent over a decade running renovation projects across the city's residential prime postcodes — and, alongside that, building out a specialist commercial spray painting division for clients who need a factory-grade finish without closing the doors.
The spray team didn't start as a side service. It grew because we kept being asked to do the finishing that other contractors couldn't reach — the kitchen respray after the joinery was installed, the shopfront where the metalwork needed fixing first, the office where the partition came down before the wall was sprayed. The same standard, applied to a different substrate.
Today the spray division operates as a discipline in its own right — with its own crew, its own equipment (HVLP and airless), its own RAL palette and its own programme — but it sits inside a full construction business. That means when a commercial client calls for a respray, they get more than a paint shop. They get a builder that can handle the carpentry, the M&E, the access platforms, the radiator removal — all the things that sit between the substrate and the finish.
